Notes

Beets are great for detoxing becuase they are packed with potassium, folate, fiber and antioxidants. They also contain betaine, a compound that may protect against liver damage, and help the liver process fats. It also contains the betacyanin, and antioxidant that may provide anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and detoxification support (notably supporting glutathione-dependent phase 2 detoxification). Go Beets!
